Dr. Praveena's journey began with a solid educational foundation, including a B.Sc and B.Ed, followed by an M.Sc in Microbiology. However, her true calling led her to pursue a Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) degree, giving her the base for her Ayurvedic healing practice.
She began her journey under the tutelage of her father, Dr. P.R. Jayathilakan. Dr. Praveena is specially trained in treating heart failure. She has a track record of managing over a vast number of cases of heart failure cementing her expertise in this critical domain. Over a decade, her focus remained steadfast on heart failure cases, earning her recognition as a leading authority in the field.
In the last five years, Dr. Praveena has extended her healing touch to encompass a wider spectrum of ailments, including breast cancer, brain tumours, epilepsy, and myopia. With a wealth of experience, she has adeptly handled more than 5000 patients grappling with heart failure, offering hope and solace to those afflicted with conditions such as heart pumping difficulties, dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM), pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH), and more.
